C.L.A.S.S.

An Invitation from Sammy

I would like to invite you to CLASS 101. You don’t have to become a member to attend– it’s just for your information. In CLASS 101, we will explain what we believe, how we operate, and the history of our church.

What is C.L.A.S.S.?

God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to take time to dig into the Bible on a daily basis, or maybe God wants you to see what His Word has to say about why you exist. Northminster's CLASS system is all about those next steps. The four classes build on each other (CLASS 101 is a prerequisite for 201, 201 for 301, etc.) helping you develop a purpose driven life one step at a time.

Class_101

Class 101 is a basic introduction to Northminster and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. You’ll learn about our history, our heritage, our beliefs, and our structure.

Class_201

Class 201 focuses on the four basic habits every Christian needs to grow to spiritual maturity: Time in God’s Word, Prayer, Tithing and Fellowship. You’ll learn how to implement these habits into your everyday life.

Class_301

Each of us was put on earth to make a contribution. We are not saved by service; we are saved for service. God has a ministry for every member in our Northminster family. That’s what Class 301 is all about. It’s designed to help you discover your SHAPE for ministry.

Class_401

Class 401 is dedicated to helping our core members learn to openly share their faith, discover their life mission, and realize how they can serve both in the community and in the world. This class takes members through learning to share their faith, becoming a “World-Class” Christian, and discovering God’s mission for their lives.

Small Groups

We believe that Jesus calls his Body, the church, to unity of purpose and spirit and that as church members we need to protect the unity of the church (John 17:20-23). We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. We believe that small groups are one of the most important places where loving relationships result in life change, and as such, small groups are the heartbeat of our church. Every member needs to be in one. Not in a small group? Looking to start a new group or join an existing one? Check out the small group finder or contact and we’ll help hook you up with a group that meets your schedule.

Will you be a H.O.S.T. home?

You can do this! Simply open your home to the people you invite. You don’t have to be a leader or a teacher. Just email to let her know if you're interested.

What does it mean to be a H.O.S.T.?

Have a heart for people
Open your home
Serve a snack

It’s that simple. You can do this!

By taking this step of faith, you can expect to:

  • Have your heart expanded and your faith deepened
  • Experience the opportunity to be used by God

If you choose to be a host, you will be the reason why someone is able to get in a small group, and small groups are where people can meet Jesus for the first time.
